What Are My Rates?
- $200 per 50-minute session
I will, on occasion, provide longer sessions at a prorated rate.
Services requested outside of a session (such as form completion, community consultations, etc.) will be charged at 15-minute increments and need to be agreed upon before being rendered.
When I am able, I offer reduced-fee sessions, based on availability and need.
*At this time, my reduced rate availability is full. I am happy to provide referrals upon request.
Do I Take Insurance?
I do not bill insurance directly, or accept insurance payments. I will provide an itemized listing of services and dates (a “superbill”) for clients to submit on their own to their insurance provider or health savings account administrator. Doing so does not guarantee what, if any, rate of reimbursement may be received.
*I recommend prospective clients contact their insurance provider to check into their insurance coverage, so they can make a more informed decision upon starting therapy.
I am not in the Medicaid or Medicare systems at this time- if you are in need of a provider that can accept one of these programs I can help you with a referral.
If you have a Health Savings Account payment card with no in-network provider restrictions, I may be able to accept that form of payment.
How Do I Take Payment?
I primarily use IvyPay, a therapy-specific, HIPAA-compliant, cloud-based payment system for cards. I will accept other forms of payment upon request. Payment is due at the time of service.
What Is My Cancellation Policy?
Normally clients would be required to provide 24 hours advance notice of a cancellation or be charged the full rate. But life happens. Sometimes things come up last-minute, like illnesses or work travel. It is my opinion that the occasional need to reschedule with little notice should not be a cause for added stress. This does not mean that I take my time or my clients' health any less seriously, however. I am willing to be flexible, but misuse of this flexibility will result in charges at the full rate. Also, multiple missed sessions in a row without prior arrangements and discussion will result in removal from my schedule.
